Still a Better Ending than Shameless?

Ian exhales the breath he didn't know he was holding, shakily. There's so much he wants to ask - but he's distracted by the sound of trumpets in the background.
"Is that ... is that Mariachi music?"

This is my attempt at wrapping up the Gallavich storyline in a Shameless fashion - something which may, or may not be attempted by the series going forward. It wouldn't necessarily be my choice for where the characters are, or how they got there, but I think there's still aspects to all of them that have yet to be explored.

Everything is canon through Season 7 - yeah, even the bits you don't like.
