I turn to look at her and am startled by her proximity. If I didn't know better I would think that she was about the kiss me. The way she licks her lips as her eyes flicker from my eyes down to my lips makes me question what I know. Instead she just leaves me with a few words of advice, "Slow down, life in the fast lane isn't all it's cracked up to be"
