The Maiden of Memories
Lethe is a river mermaid with a rare talent: she can erase and manipulate others' memories. As a result of this ability, the river mermaids have raised her to protect her river home, which holds the Talisman of Dreams. Despite not knowing the reason why, Lethe still takes the responsibility as their main guardian. But nothing she can do will stop the theft of the treasure. As a result of the talisman's disappearance, her river is swallowed in chaos, every single creature panicking over the loss of their most important artifact. As she took the blame for the theft, Lethe, in return, has to find the thief and bring back the ancient relic at all costs. She shall not allow anything to stop her from her quest, even if her actions will cross some boundaries that shouldn't be touched.
