"I'm sorry...I can't tell you!" I yelled at my precious Sabrina as memories of my killings swam through my head. "I'm a monster...I'm evil...but most of all, I have to stay unknown..."
"Why? You say you love me, but you won't tell me about the real you...Arcangelo...I don't care what you are...I will love you no matter what," she whispered; then she kissed me on the lips.
"No...you won't...no one has..." I answered back, while I slowly stepped away from her.
"I'm not like the rest" she replied, grabbing my arm and making my retreat impossible; so after the thought of struggle passed through my mind, I gave up and decided to tell her.
"I'm a vampire..." I said almost silently. I glanced up, expecting her to have ran away, but she hadn't moved. "Happy?"
"Very..." she told before hugging me. "I don't tell lies..."

Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?" I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. His canines are splattered with scarlet blood -my blood- and when I touch the place he bit me with my finger, it comes back covered in red. "I'll see you soon, Cami. You'll see, things will only be more exciting from here." He turns his back to me to walk away but suddenly stops, turning his head back to me. "Has your sister mentioned me at all?" My mouth falls open and no sound comes out so he just shakes his head with a laugh. "Ah... she likes to keep me a secret. Until the next, Camilla..." And with that, he is gone right before my eyes. It's as if the bubble pops because when I close my eyes and open them again, the halls are completely empty and I'm panting against the wall. I bring my hand to the bite on my neck. Nothing. But he held me firmly, his eyes filled with concern and love. "Please, calm down. You scared me when you fell into the river. I thought I had lost you," he whispered, his voice breaking with emotion. I stopped struggling and looked into his eyes, seeing the pain and fear that I had caused him. I then looked down as I said, "I thought I'd make it easier for you." His face paled. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. I took a deep breath and confessed, "I never wanted you to fall in love with me." I say. He looked at me in shock, his grip on my shoulder loosening. "Why would you say that? Why would you think that would be easier for me?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion and hurt. I closed my eyes, unable to meet his gaze as I replied, "Because I don't deserve your love. I'm not who you think I am." He sat there in silence, processing my words. And then, without warning, he leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips. I pulled away, stunned by his action. "I don't care who you think you are. I love you, for you dumbass," he said.
