Both Violet Silversword and Destiny Coppermist's lives have been affected by Voldemort one way or another.

Violet has lost everyone she loves to his hands and lives on the run, not daring to trust anyone. She is one of the few people denying Voldemort's reign and fighting desperately against it.

Destiny's parents are both devoted to Voldemort and are content. She hopes to follow in their footsteps and become his second in command, lieutenant if you will.
