Storyline

Salsalbilah, a 21 year old Nigerian muslimah who is on a journey to discover Islam and devote herself to worshipping Allah alone and become the best muslimah she can be. At first, she thought it was an easy road with no obstacles whatsoever and she's just a wish away from having it being granted. Little did she know that transforming into a practicing muslimah amidst all the temptations that surrounded her and the pressure that came from her average Muslim family alongside the taunting of her friends and the non practicing society, she found herself on the brink of giving up until Allah sent her a man who has faced a similar scenario as her and was able to scale through the most difficult of stages and become a pious man.

Abduljalil, a 25 year old guy, one of Nigeria's elite. The fame and power they possess never blurred his vision to lose sight of his one purpose of creation; to worship Allah and be an obedient slave. This wasn't Him always. He used to be a bad boy having house parties all around London and Abuja until he met with a tragedy which changed His life forever. He's had his obstacles and challenges worst than Salsabeelah.. having to school abroad with no one to watch over him and correct him for his wrongdoings, it was quite a murky world for him. Also, dealing with peer pressure from his rich spoilt friends wasn't so easy either. Now he feels he's a grownup man and being someone who's done with school and his masters not forgetting that he's a working class gentleman, all he feels he needs is a woman to help complete half his deen.

Follow Salsabilah as she strives to break free from the shackles of materialism and liberate herself from the oppression of this dunya in its entirety.
... And Abduljalil in finding true love and steps he takes to complete half his deen despite the chagrin of his mum wanting him to marry an A-List woman on the same social strata as him in "What It Takes".
