Haven is just trying to have a normal summer, but a run-in with Christian, a guys she meets in Staples, her normal summer an go down the drain..  When school comes around, Haven's brother Bryan, tries out, and succesfully makes the high school football team.  But, during a ski trip with friends, Haven's father calls with awful news. Her brother is in the hospital.  As she rushes home, she finds out he has a rare heart disease, Long QT Syndrome.  To her, it is a mixture of medical terms, but to Bryan, it is three words.  No more football, ever.  After a long chat with her brother, he convinces her to take his place as quarterback.  Her body, as well as her ego gets bruised, but will it be enough to make her family proud, and to perform for the team?
