There are two things Caylx knows for sure about the zombie apocalypse; one, if you're a little tubby you might wanna consider slimming down a bit because the second thing she knows about the zombie apocalypse is that you have to RUN. A LOT. And if you can't run then you might as well count yourself out now, because you're basically screwed. Caylx knows THAT first hand.

Little Old Me? (Fear the Walking Dead) Book 1/3 of Dead World
Moving, you have to keep moving. No stopping or the dead will get you. Learn that and you will survive the dead world. The world that used to be normal before the walkers appeared. They over ran the world, making it dead. There were more dead than alive. So it was technically a dead world. That was a lesson little old Harper Dixion had to learn quick to stay alive. She had to abandon her search for her brother for her own life. If it was meant to be they would meet again. This was a game rigged for the dead. You just have to play in it. Ready, begin. Author's note: This is book 1 of 2 in a series called the Dead World. You don't have to read the other one but it will give you some context of what happened to Harper between act 1 and 2. The 2nd book is called Queen of Hearts. The main character is Rick Grimes's sister, Taylor Grimes. She is the love interest of Daryl Dixion. Harper will appear at the end of act 3- . Taylor and some other OCs might make an appearance in this story too.Concluída
THE RISKS
"You can't tell me there isn't something here worth risking everything for." [New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: There are some things that you can't outrun. That becomes all the more obvious when the world is ending, when there's nothing left but the feral creatures that were once people, consumed now by a virus that's made them cannibalistic and ravenous. It might just be easier to end it all, but Claire still has one last thing to fight for. Her younger sister. And she intends to keep her safe, no matter the cost. So, with no other options and her sister in tow, Claire ventures out into the dangers of this new, unforgiving world in search of safety, security, and answers to some long burning questions. The first two things -along with some new, unexpected questions- she finds in an unlikely place: a stranger who she's become indebted to. She has a feeling he can help her answer all her questions, if she can allow herself to fully trust him. Trust, she thinks, is a fragile thing. Humanity, a construct. Love, a weakness. But these are the thoughts of a survivor, and she's beginning to wonder if surviving is all she wants. Maybe she wants to live.

This New World We Live In (A Walking Dead fanfic)
I ran as fast as my feet would carry me. My lungs gasped for oxygen. I knew I had to stop, but he could still be following me. I pushed myself harder. I needed to get away, far away. From him. From this. I remember I just woke up one day, and went to work as usual. I drove my squad car around town on patrol, but I saw bodies. Bodies everywhere. They were dead bodies, but they weren't still on the ground. They were walking around. As if they had re-animated. I shook away the memories from the day it started all those weeks ago and focused on my running. It was almost sunrise and I figured I could stop soon. As soon as I knew I was safe. But I know now that I had fooled myself. In this new world, you can never be safe. I'm Katie Greene, and this is the apocalypse.Concluída
