Mariee Michelle Harrington was 18 trying to get through high school in the crazy hood they call Compton. Her momma being the local hoe and drug fiend, she worked hard to try and get through school so she can support her and her 2 year old sister.
     Everything was going better than it has in a while, but when her momma goes missing and things get harder she bumps into this cute guy, they hit it off, but shes  not looking for a relationship.

     But everybody has baggage, some heavier then ever. Mariee and Orlando's friendship is put to the test, especially when someone starts growing feelings.
