Valeria Lavine couldn't care less about the world more than anyone else. But she was the one who was most insistent on saving her brother and disobeying her clan's traditions.
Valeria was born in a village with enhanced superhuman strength that could easily kill someone. And her traditions included killing one's own parents for the coming of age ceremony. Disgusted with her clan's culture, Valeria was more than happy to leave the clan. However she could not because of her precious younger brother.
If she left, who would protect her fragile younger brother? The one who is considered a failure in the clan? How would he bear the burden of leading the family? Valeria is chained to her village and was obligated to walk side by side with the very rules she hate.
However, as part of her training, Valeria went to take the Hunter x Hunter exam where she met Kurapika, Killua, Gon, and Leorio. They helped her find her resolve, they made her realize what she truly desire, and they are the ones who are leading her out of this chaos. But her family doesn't intend to let her go. No, the Lavine clan won't release their strongest female warrior without a bloody battle.
Will Valeria escape the chains of her clan? Will she be forced to kill her own parents? And will Valeria have the choice to turn down the engagement with the strongest male warrior in her clan and choose someone else on her own will?
