THE WISH OF HER
She rubbed her cheeks bashfully and asked, "Is there something on my face?" I leaned a little closer and whispered softly, "Yes... there was something. I was just looking at the beautiful creation of God... wondering why I can never get enough of it." ________________________________ Then he slowly leaned closer, his warm breath brushing near my ear. "Most people set their passwords as the name of their favorite person... or someone close to their heart." My pulse skipped instantly. "That means I'm close to your heart... right, Manisha?" My throat went dry. "Nothing like that," I said quickly. "I... It all started with a paper plane... _______________________________________________________ "You.... you shouldn't do that.. carter.. dont-" I stuttered as he came closer and closer to me. He called me by my name, Aurora Zoey Jacobs not snowy not rose,not doll face , he never calls me my real name, and now it kinda hurts. So words are valuable, and I, James Hunter, won't waste them. Of course I'll speak when it's important but I don't think I'll speak for anything other than that. But I'm dying and I don't want to be, but the choice isn't mine to make. My body- my heart has made up its mind, I'm going to die, I just have to accepting it. And if I'm going to die, I want to be remembered, I want them to visible see my face, feel my touch and hear my voice from my final hours of living. I want my family to know everything I've been holding in and I want my friends to remember me as strong. So what I'm going to die? Everyone does at one point. I'll just die sooner than expected and medication won't do anything to stop it, only postpone it and I don't want it postponed, when I'm ready... Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self. "Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought, immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places... All of those places involving a very hard part of my body... I glanced back at Leo; his gaze was still as intense as it was before (unfortunately). He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy (which has happened once before, but Ethan tries to forget it). Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy. From learning a new language to venturing in new jobs, one thing always prevailed: resilience. Life obstacles testing our faith and patience, encouragement prevailed. Who says wishes and dreams never come true? Not me. I believe that life is like a rollercoaster. There are ups but sometimes there are also downs and those are my inspirations in life to succeed in everything that I do. I know not everybody has the same beliefs as I do and I understand that but I believe that God made me a mission.
