POST REICHENBACH/JOHNLOCK AU. Two years after watching the love of his life commit suicide, John Watson has faded out. Balancing between sleepless nights or facing the nightmares to see Sherlock’s face again; he knows the game is over. But he never had closure. And so, on a bleak Christmas Eve, he visits Sherlock’s grave and says what he should have said but never could. He hadn’t expected a reply; especially not this one. After two years of using the shadow of his demise as a cover to take down a terror network, Sherlock Holmes is back. With his hand hovering over the call button, he waits near his grave to catch a glimpse of John, unsure of how to come home. But one night, somebody makes it easier. The game is on. (Or should I say, “The gay is on”?) BOOK #1 of the SherlockedDoors Subcanon (shitty name, I know, but alliteration calls.) (NOTE: This does not follow the plot of series 3, it goes off in a totally different direction. Though some things have been recently updated to merge with some posts in John's blog and a couple of teasers, I started writing this AAGGGEESSS before series 3 so the reunion scene is different. Sherlock Holmes is a teen with a curse. Well, not exactly a curse- in fact, some call it a gift. His mind automatically analyzes any item or scene in front of him, unwelcome words popping into his sight and providing him with information he doesn't need. However, his pain and problems are lessened when he meets John Watson, a guy with a past that could bring nightmares to any reasonable person. Together, they grow close while sipping steaming cups of tea in a local cafe- and also by working together to solve the brutal murder of a peer.

If you forget something can you revive that memory just as easy as forgetting it? A/U no Mary, Sherlock's mind palace is a bit more... sophisticated. A few plot twists I guess and I wouldn't read this if you get triggered easily. This is your warning. If it's really triggering i will put a warning on the chapter. there is a use of offensive slurs in it so if you feel uncomfy with that don't read this. There is also some smut implications but I won't actually write any smut as like just no. People know me in this app :) Andd this is my first johnlock story or any fanfic for that matter so please don't be to mean and try to ignore any loose threads I may leave! He was never able to pry into much of Sherlock, and vice versa. But over time, slowly and carefully he gets Sherlock to open up. And there he finds his deepest and darkest secret he holds. But as John's world grows enventually, Sherlocks has begun to shrink - and rapidly. How far will John go to save the boy he has come to love completely?
