Amber Rose is your typical 18 year old girl, with an incredible voice. What’s the problem? She doesn’t realize it. Since she’s also talented with the guitar and piano, she decides to take a leap of faith and try out for her school talent show. Although she doesn’t have the same taste in music, she’s determined to show everyone she’s not just the nerd everyone turns to for help on a project.
But when Amber’s voice catches the unwanted attention of the "popular crowd", she realizes too late what trouble she got in.
