"Miss Elliot, we've come to a decision," the guy in the pink unicorn tie droned on. His glasses were inches away from falling off his nose and his leather file he was clutching to his chest looked as old and tattered as my great grandma Jane.

Ugh, I know what they're gonna say.

"Miss Elliot, you're -" he started before I started blabbering on.

"I know. I'm fired. Boo hoo," I grumbled.

"No, Miss Elliot. You're -" the guy started again.

"What? I'm undesired? Heard that one before," I sighed.

"No! You're -"

"Retired? I ain't that old! I'm only 19, for Petes sake!"

"You're -"

"Expired?"

"No! You're -"

"Inspired?"

"No! You're -"

"Wired?"

"You're -"

"Inquired?"

"No -"

"Conspired?"

"-"

"Backfired?"

"..."

"Shitcryered?"

Wait. Is that a word?

Meh, probably.

And then he said the words that made me question my life.
