Ambitious. Stubborn. Sarcastic. Brave. These are all words to describe Maeve Bennett. She is a troubled, lonely girl living in a communist society with a malicious, evil ruler by the name of Hannibal Kahn. After being taken away from her only family by a bunch of rebel soldiers, she discovers that there is much more to life than what she previously knew. A series of unexpected events and information unravels as she finds who she is within a society mauled by the mindset of an evil genius. Secrets and lies are revealed to Maeve by people she never expected. But she also meets new people who change her ideals of life and love forever. Most important of all, Maeve is finding herself. And not even a crumbling, lunatic government will ruin her chance at becoming who she is meant to be.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
