There is an Indian arrow in its rib-cage. One skeletal arm holds a watch-like device that, the boy, discovers can control subjective time. The thirteen year old uses the device on many adventurous trips to future and past. Among his finds are a buffalo hunter, a young Billie the Kid, and an intelligent rat from the future. A jaded 20 something named Anita, without a job, decides to go follow the longings of her mother and accompany her, along with her sister+kids, to the western United States - "middle of nowhere" Montana. It is on there second day there that they stumble upon an abandoned mining town called Bannack. Rita is so intrigued in the lives of those that once lived here, that she goes exploring at night and during a thunderstorm. Robert Wentforth, descendant of Scottish highlanders, also decides to leave his comforting midwestern town. He takes along with him his wife and two kids, who die of disease. After drinking himself numb, he decides to clean up his life. He prays in church, and then finds a woman thrown at his feet. This woman claims she's in the wrong time period. The first place they went to was the dinosaurs, so they had spend their days with them, but as time past it was time for them to leave their Dino friends to go home. They found themselves in a different place that wasn't there own. They saw people in robes walking around and they soon was taken to a palace to talk to the Emperor and Empress. They wanted them to stay, but was told no. Their baby was about to be born, so they left the palace to go back to 2021. She gave birth to Brittany and after she was born her parents were both kidnapped, so Brittany was given to the orphanage to live.Complete

This is part of my Forever series. a retelling of the prodigal son story with Joe and Ben. Ever since becoming a husband and father, Joe becomes fed up with working for his Pa on the Ponderosa and wants to venture out on his own and create a new and more exciting life for his family when he comes across a mysterious businessman who offers him a job with exciting opportunities. Joe takes his family to Boston where his brother, Adam is living with his family. But Adam starts to become suspicious of the man's motives and suspects there's more to this man than he's leading Joe to believe. This is an original story I wrote with Joe and Adam. We didn't get many Joe and Adam episodes on the show and I loved exploring their dynamic as the oldest and the youngest brother and as always it's best my Bonanza stories are read in order as they contain characters and events introduced in my Forever story.Complete
