Y/n L/n was a normal girl living a normal life at Liberty High-at least on the surface. She had a close-knit group of friends, including Justin Foley, Jessica Davis, and Alex Standall, and a steady, grounding relationship with Zach Dempsey that felt like the one thing she didn't have to question. But everything changes when Hannah Baker takes her own life, leaving behind thirteen tapes explaining the "reasons" she did it-reasons that turn out to be people. And Y/n is one of them. What begins as guilt soon spirals into something far more destructive as the tapes resurface buried secrets and drag Liberty High into years of fallout. Y/n is forced to confront her own actions-her harshness, her pride, and the moments she chose to speak without thinking of the damage left behind. As the situation escalates beyond school and into a full legal battle, the trial threatens to expose everything they've tried to bury, pushing friendships and relationships to their breaking point. Then Bryce Walker's death shatters whatever fragile stability remains, turning fear into suspicion and grief into paranoia.
