INhuman

Four kids are thrown into a decade old war between humans and the magi. Shifters and mæge have fought against the humans for years, but eventually had to leave their homes and retreat into the mountains. Alex, Jordan, Kat, and Toby are four artificially created magi, two shifters and two mæge. The humans have been testing on the kids until a hidden shifter breaks them out. The four kids have to make their way across three major human cities before they can even start to think about making their way through the mountains to the magi sanctuary.
