I've changed. Surrounded by hypocrites that say change is a good thing, but when change comes into their lives, they try to hold onto everything that made the change happen. What a counterfeit world.
The sad thing is I'm trying not to be one of those people.

Her entire life so far had been like one sunny afternoon, passing quickly and soon forgotten along with all the other days that had no stand-out excitement or tragedy. At thirteen she was ready to explore the entire world, learn fighting and this new world. Her emotions were not easily hidden on her innocent face. Her pain was evident in the crease of her lovely brow and the down-curve of her full lips. But her eyes, her eyes showed her soul. They were a deep pool of restless gold, an ocean of hopeless grief.
