Cristina and Cassidy are both Filipino-Hong Kong Chinese. Their fathers are both Hong Kong Chinese and their mothers are both Filipina Domestic Helpers. But one thing is different from them, Cassidy's family is complete because Kenzo Huang and Betchay Huang, Cassidy's parents and Cristina's parent's close friends, fought for their love until the end; unlike Cristina, she grew up believing that Hamilton Lee Fai Chiu, Cristina's father and Cassidy's godfather, is already dead but this is not true. The truth is Susan, Cristina's mother and Cassidy's godmother, gave up on her marriage with Hamilton due to complications that is why, Cristina's family is not complete.
