The Love Story of the Two Suns and the Two Moons

In 1800s Joseon Korea, there was a prophecy that the future King and Queen are the Moon and the Sun. Legend has it that the Moon and the Sun are a couple that is reincarnated every 200 years and that they are fated to be together for the sake of Joseon.

The Crown Prince, Lee Hwon, and his brother, Yang Myung, are the candidates for the Sun. It is extremely important to determine the rightful Sun and that he must be married to the rightful Moon. In order to make sure they meet the rightful moon, the princes are supposed to time travel 200 years in the past and 200 years in the future to meet the past and future reincarnations of the Moon candidates.

Yeon Yi and Soo Yeon, girls from 200 years past and future respectively, are the candidates of the two Moons. At their very young age, both have suffered from society's dislike, Yeon Yi for being a lower class slave and suspected gumiho, and Soo Yeon for being a murderer's daughter. Both girls dreamed of meeting a boy who would love them and that they would love in return.

In their journeys, both princes would meet the two girls (without the other's knowledge) and make friendships. All will fall in love, but only one pair will love each other in return. Who is that pair that will fall in love and be together? Who will suffer unrequited love? Find out!

I loved the child actors acting in The Moon that Embraces the Sun. Searching for their other dramas, I found out that the younger versions of the main characters all played couples in other dramas:
