Most of us probably already know that most creepypasta stories aren't actually real - but are there any creepypastas based on real-life events or phenomena?

In a word, YES.

LET'S READ SOME REAL-LIFE EVENTS, GET READY TO BE SCARED.

Personally, I always think freaky stories are even more freaky if there's an element of truth to them; it lends them an air of authenticity that makes them all the better.

(NOTE: None of this stories are mine the credit goes to it's original writers)

I know it's not mainstream or relevant anymore, but I still like Creepypastas. A lot. After I first heard of Slender Man, it didn't take long for me to find out that he was but a tiny piece of a larger puzzle. There were a lot of stories with many more characters that many people liked. But unfortunately, it took me years to find out why the fandom was dying: Many stories, like Jeff the Killer, Eyeless Jack, Laughing Jack, Play With Me, and so on, were flawed. EXTREMELY flawed. The characters' actions didn't really make sense, there were a lot of misspellings, poor grammar, and cliches that made them broken from the start. I wasn't capable back in the day, but now I will do my best to find the best versions of their stories from the internet (or write them myself) and publish them here. I hope what I'm doing is worth it. If you have any suggestions, please send requests, I'll happily take them.
