Orsi (Orshee) is a troubled youth trying to escape from being defined by her family's beliefs, and in doing so she takes the identity of a Jane Doe, a college peer, to use her scholarship to gain entry into a very prestigious medical school. Ria comes into Orsi's place of employment, the morgue-DOA. Orsi is unaware that Ria Anna Nushka, the Jane Doe, was secretly a hit-woman there to kill the Russian language professor. When Anna Nushka family finds out about Orsi they force her to resume the role as a hit-woman. Excited by the thrilling new challenge of becoming someone new she suffers with a life changing decision which causes her to stumble as she tries to become a medical doctor. As her life takes its own course everyone around her is unveiling the secret lives they all have lived. Seventeen year old Araba Dadzie suspects her parents, who have a strong dislike for her best friend Emma Woodburn, might be planning something sinister against her. Simultaneously, this happens while Araba's mother begins stalking them as well, making Emma and her mother start to feel very unsafe with Araba. As tension rises between both families, Araba realizes she will have to use any deadly means necessary to protect the bond she has with her bestfriend and her mother, who are the only people who have ever loved her. At what lengths will she go in doing so?
