Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.

Alby put up with her antics as she was the only girl the creators had ever sent up, and unless they did it again, Alby had to ensure she was safe, which was difficult when the girl enjoyed going against him and running out into the maze during lunch. Minho, the keeper of the runners, often had to chase after her on his days off, which coincidentally were the only days that the Angelica ran into the maze. That didn't mean he enjoyed chasing after the girl, Alby's orders though. Only one way to find out! this follows tmr, tst, and tdc but not exactly Thomas and Minho are your best friends but Minho has always been closer to you if you see any errors or something doest make sense, pls tell me and ill change it. But try and be nice and resonable when you do give me advice. Basiclly, don't be a slinthead about it :) All of the characters in this belong to James Dashner. execept you, you belong to yourself, and no one else ;) I haven't written in a while and I think the book ended on a semi good note so I'll end it now and I might make a sequel in the future
