Trapped. Surrounded on all sides by an overpowering barrier visible only to you. A barrier consisting of your thoughts, your dreams, your hopes, separating you from the rest of the world. Thoughts struggling to escape, the memories vivid in your head. You're trying to push back the flood of emotion, trying to break down that wall that's separating you from the judgement that awaits you at the other side. Your fears captivate you and morph you into a new person entirely. Surrounded on all sides and breaking into cold perspiration. Enveloping you is that same fear, gripping at your heart. You stand still hoping for the storm to back down, hoping for another chance. Sooner or later you're faced with reality and you'll know there's no turning back. All that remains is a whisper of silence.

Trying out what writing feels like here and there with a few small stories. They can either be lighthearted or serious. Some romantic others not, hopefully I'll write one that you might like.

'I hear it in my ear drums. But I can't seem to convince myself that it's real.' I have no idea what I'm doing. Why am I writing this? I dunno, I felt like it and now I'll probably regret it day by day as I update it. Oh well, time to get drunk off of root beer and write down emotional stuff!

From my mind, to the page, with some editing in between. Thoughts, rants, blurb etc.

Do you ever feel alone? Feel like you're not needed in this world? Feel left out? This book has 12 short stories to help you get through your problems. It has stories of people's experiences in so you don't have to. You're not alone and with this book I hope you can find your guide to the end of the tunnel.

To be completely honest, it's just a load of randomly plucked words from the air, infused together with some punctuation and their job is to represent the bunch of emotion I, - a tired, caffeine filled, late night worker- threw together in hopes that I would touch a passionate soul trapped inside a body with a thought-provoking mind and rapidly beating heart. To all the readers, dedicated or not, there is a 'sequel', The Second Wave. Click my profile and have a peek, I think you're going to like it.

Condensed into one place are ten stories that I have created in a year with varied genres, writing techniques, settings, moods, and character perspective. These stories include drama, violence, loss, anger, anxiety, and depression. Each objective--theme--of the short stories will be produced on the first page as a table of contents.

In this planet, there are over 7 billion people living. All with different names and backgrounds. No one can tell the future but one can tell of the past. It's not always happy, but we try to move on. We all have stories to tell and someday these stories will be passed on. Will they like our stories, be inspired by it, hate it, relate to it? It will all depend on who they are, I guess.

You're awake. You're different. You exist, suddenly, as two things. You, the one you know, with the body and name you're familiar with--and this new you, the one exists within you. This you is inhabiting a world within your own. This other consciousness that you see through has begun to sense its timeline, each word a moment. Like the you you're familiar with, this self seems to come into its life mid-story--though the way you experience this life/story differs vastly from what you're used to. As you grow you will eventually know how to articulate it, even recreate it. First, however, you must choose to embark on/in this small incarnation; you must read the first word. For those who will tread forth on this journey, we salute you. You have been dubbed Archeia, may your journey be ever abundant.
