It all started out innocent enough. A bright Sunday morning, small-time musician, Jill Aita, showed up at his house with car trouble. His daughter instantly took a liking to her. He could have. He wanted to, but Ben, an over-protective, single father, sensed something was off. He wanted to help her until her past caught up to them and damaged their potential future. As it always had, his daughter's safety trumped all. Leaving her to face her past, alone, maybe wasn't the best idea. To those interested, thank you. I plan on rewriting one to two chapters a week. This was a finished MS, but I decided to go back and add some things here and there, and remove other things. Thanks to all who are following along on the rewrite journey!
