Lea's family lives by the river Lea, where Lea (who was named after the river) grew up.  When Lea is 8, she falls into the river and almost drowns, but her older brother Trevor saves her.  She didn't know it then but she had gained water powers that wouldn't be activated until she turned 18, which is now.  Now that she knows she has these powers,  she is trying to figure out how to stop them from going haywire before she destroys everything she touches.
