What would it be like to turn into a mermaid? To feel the same blood flow in your fingers as in the tips of your tail? Samantha wasn't expecting to find out when she rescued what she thought was a drowning woman, only to have the tides turned. And she certainly wasn't prepared for the depth of the changes as she sank more deeply- and more irreversibly- into the mermaid's world. * * * Also in e-book form here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/714561 I'm posting this all at once now because it is complete, but I'd love to hear your comments!

[COMPLETED] When a mysterious stranger turns up in the small town of Mullion, Serena is desperate not to make an impression. She has enough things to worry about with a complicated home life, trying to balance university and her job at the local library. Not to mention her closely guarded secret, the only thing keeping her together in this stressful world of humans. So when the new comer starts turning up everywhere, prying into her life and making her wonder what else is out there. Thing's get messy. Copyright © Jenna Cook 2014 All Rights Reserved EXCERPT: They scraped at my mind as gravity took hold. But no fear passed through me. I wanted to fall, the blue rushed towards me like a welcome embrace as I passed through the barrier. And suddenly, silence. No, not silence. Music. The ocean wrapped around me, chasing away the demons. Eliminating all the worries of the world. Until just me, and the sea remained. All the weight of the world was carried away on the tide as I sank into the blue. The rising sun filtered down through the water like a rainbow after rain. Now most people would be worried right now. Realising they're out of breath and dying. But it's part of the reason I keep to myself, let people think I'm not normal. Because I'm not normal. I'm just even more not normal than they fathomed. -------------- Completed! But slowly editing Thank you for reading! If you like it please remember to vote and comment!
