In Smaria being a Knight is a man's job. It has been this way since the creation of the Kingdom and isn't looking to change that anytime soon. However, when the Smarian King is murdered right under the noses of the Lands most trusted and highest ranked Knights word is sent out by the Queen to Asnaria asking for them to send their most loyal and trusted men to help protect her son who is to take the throne at the age of 18.
What the Knight Commander in charge of settling the Asnarian's was not expecting was for their leader to be a female of colour.
