Hadrian is a seventeen year old Prince with his nation on the verge of collapse. As he struggles with his demons and feelings for his friend and servant Lilian, he starts to lose himself in the giant Palace he calls home. Hadrian starts to embrace the moral gray area in his soul as he struggles to define his own existence. At the same time, his friend Daniel slips further under the control of the immortal Ezerith. Daniel's inner turmoil from a harsh childhood and ingrained sociopathy cause him to be torn between Ezerith's compulsion and his hidden obsession that defines his life. Ezerith is ignorant to who she is dealing with, and the situation threatens to tumble out of control, harming anyone in their paths. At the same time, mercenary Kyan wants nothing more than to return to the simple days of love and family. However, as he gets further entrenched by a revolutionary plot, he starts to question whether his desire for revenge is worth the cost of achieving it.
