This anthology centers on re-staging life into pictures of lost values, unsuccessful dreams, heartbreaks and worst faces of the world. Sometimes in our lives, we think of things and become just so frustrated when they don't go in our favor. Sometimes we stumble and fail and fall, that most of the time, we end up losing the grip of our determination. Never did we try to compose our selves, it is just that maybe there is more about what is in the shelves.

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. For over a hundred rotations, my kind has thrived under the use of surrogates. We are a male-dominated race, a warrior race, with a single objective....to dominate the universe. To do this, we have suppressed our mate bonds, forgotten the traditions that used to bind us to the mates we once worshipped. But all the changes now. Abandoned and alone, we are forced to expose our surrogates to life aboard a military vessel. My surrogate is the first we awaken. I know I'm strong enough to resist the pull of the bond. To avoid the human female who carries my son. I have to be. Otherwise I put every Trenzian warrior on this ship at risk. Not to mention the other surrogates and younglings still in hypersleep. But what happens when I can't resist my instincts, and my female is threatened. Will I embrace the passion and ferocity of a forgotten time? Or do I stay to the path that was laid out before me, even if I risk losing them forever?

From a simple conversation happening between two Filipina astronauts, to an individual confessing his true feelings to the person he loves, to a failed missing person's investigation and the lover searching for his whereabouts in the Philippines, to a story about the woeful memories surrounding a rabbit plushie in the United Kingdom; a conversation happening between people at night with a campfire, about spirits and passion, in Norway; to a dying animal's thoughts about the person that saved it, to the letters given to the person that matters to one's life, to a man trapped in a cursed town and more. These 30 stories compiled in the months of August 2023 - February 2024, made in handwritten yellow pad papers and shared to the world for the first time shows that there are ways we find to connect with others through the stories we tell to one another. Stories dealing with the loss of a loved one, the horrors of reality, about the challenges faced in life, a longing for the person we loved, the laughter shared in-between, the hopes we treasure for tomorrow and beyond and of the little interactions that happen in life. It is through the attachments, love, support, consistency, determination and dreams do we find the will to push through and accomplish what needs to be done that is set out for us to tackle. Goals and art; sacrifices made and understood; and the belief that chasing the dream is all worth it and that it helps us connect and inspire us to do what matters the most.
