We are writing to inform you that these nine students have been chosen to go into the deep Argentinian jungle for a 3-month survey of the wildlife.  There will be a fee of $500 for simple necessities like food, water, and shelter. Students will be expected to know basic survival training and will be provided with a field guide. They are said to be dangerous, man-slaughtering creatures that must be controlled and killed whenever possible; used for entertainment and training purposes, the creatures lash out and live up to what the humans say they are. When Keira is sent to a training academy away from her home and family, things begin to happen and a long kept secret is revealed. She learns that she is one of the few that feel the ferliobog species' pain, one of the few that can communicate and hopefully save a misunderstood species. A gentle creature, that means no harm and only retaliates to protect itself, turns her world upside down and sets her on a journey of self discovery and character testing. An encounter with a special type of people sparks a determination that cannot be swayed, and from then on she vows to protect and to help the creatures, before things get out of hand. Will she be too late to save both humans and ferliobogs? Or will one species die out at the expense of the other?

In the faraway woods of the vin3 forest, lived an old man and his child. Living conditions were harsh out in the modern society, and they were forced to live out in the wilderness. The man knew he had no choice; no chance of survival in civilisation. He took his child at a mere age of only 10, and venture into the wilderness. Life would not be easy, but he had to take a bet... Certainly, life was not easy. Food was scarce and living conditions putrid, to make matters worse, he realised that he has been ingesting chemicals, chemicals that would soon disfigure and deform his son in the most horrid and unimaginable ways. Slowly but surely, they were turning into living monsters. Toxic waste, pollution, but there was no choice left. There was no other source of running water. In addition, even the wildlife has started to died out. What will he do to survive? At an age of 50, he contemplate suicide daily, but what about his 10 year old son? 1 year later...

Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.
