Broken Then Fixed

Life was never perfect. It never was and it never will be. All my life I waited for a change; a drastic change, but everything only got worst. And I decided...that this is my destiny.

I stumbled on my dirty heels trying to create enough distance between us. He found out. I got caught. Those were the only two sentences that had my mind captivated.

My heart beat wildly in my chest and my body shook in fear; fear of what this man would do to me.

He suddenly took big steps towards me and my back hit the wall. His intimidating glare held me in place and I find my feet refusing to move.

"Do you really think you could trick me that easily Belle?" He asked in disgust. "Do you really believe that a filthy think like you could haul me into your trap?"

I close my eyes not bothering to look at him. Shame embraced me with open arms.
"I will ruin you. Ruin everything you ever have. Ruin what..."
"You can't ruin what I don't have",I whispered without realizing. I opened my eyes to look at him. "I have nothing".
