There is a full-fledged war lashing out between Toffee and Queen Moon's forces. Star Butterfly is one of, if not the only reason why they haven't been defeated yet.
So what does Queen Moon do?
She sends Star back to Earth.
No, not just so Star can enjoy a nice summer on Earth and finish high-school.
So she can find her true love.
Queen Moon believes if her daughter finds her true love, she will gain enough power to defeat Toffee.
In fact, Queen Moon believes Star already knows who her true love is.
But in order for this to work...Marco is going to have to love her in return.
And Queen Moon knows just the person who can suck Marco's feelings out of him and into a confession...if he even has them.
"...But there's just one problem with that!" Star grumbles, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "He's got a girlfriend!"
