More than two years have passed since the Fourth Great Ninja War. The hidden leaf village, Konoha, from the Land of Fire is finally at peace. Sakura Haruno, a medical ninja, has opened a Children Health Clinic within the Konoha Hospital along with the assistance of her best friend Ino Yamanaka. While all her friends are now happy and settled in their life, Sakura wonders whether she would ever live such a life. To avoid the questions about her future, she keeps herself busy with the hospital, rarely socializing with people anymore. Even Naruto is busy now having recently married the Hyuga Princess. But there's one person she can't avoid: herself. How long will she wait for him? She remembers his promise, "Until Next Time", but he has been to Konoha twice now and he did not even bother to meet her. She realizes now that Sasuke might have realized something during his journeys around the world. With every day passing she's losing the hope of him returning. She might be considered one of the strongest Konoichi of the world but she knew that deep inside she still has a very fragile heart... heart that beats only for him.
And her heart has only one desire: that this time, they walk on the same path....
However, little does she know that this time around.. her wish might be fulfilled.

He began to place kisses across her jaw, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Life is an odd creature.
