Carissa has been betrayed. Betrayed by everyone she knew. Never had she thought that just one thing could change her life so dramatically. When Carissa came of age to obtain her wings they never came. Despite this though, her powers still showed up. But heaven's council still sentenced her to death. Fate seems to disagree, for Carissa is saved by a group of angels. Except these angels all have something in common. They are all wingless. Carissa and these mysterious strangers go into hiding down on earth. There Carissa seeks answers, finds a chance at love and attempts to unmask the newfound lurking evil. Over all being a wingless angel isn't looking to bright.
