Adam was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia when he was eighteen years old. Now at age twenty, he is still dealing with the disease. Alone and afraid, his mother abandoned him to live in Florida with her new wife. In order to make himself somewhat sane, after battling self harm and depression, he begins to write about his journey with cancer in the form of an autobiography.
