Une sorte de réécriture du jardin d'Eden, ce dernier étant une utopie, l'Arbre Blanc de la Montagne Noire en est l'opposé. Aride, seul, mystérieux. La chute ramènerait pourtant à une triste réalité : la loi du plus fort.
