Jace Athens is the son of Daylen Athens, who became a famous and productive leader of White Rabbit after his wife was murdered by a "monster" when Jace was only five. Jace was raised to be caring, protective, fearless, and always willing to aid others, and although he was raised in a household that hates the so called monsters, he could never bring himself to hate them -- something deep inside him just couldn't. However, it wasn't like he was best friends with any either. But things just might change...
Essence Kaori has always been shy, but the fact that she's been a "monster" since she was a child doesn't help her case. Not wanting to cause harm to anyone, Essence has always been known as a friendly girl once people got past her shyness. However, ever since she could remember, she's been hiding from White Rabbit.
Reece Maverick -- smart, tactical, protective, oh, and a "monster" too. Reece is Clattonia's childhood friend and a leader of another group fighting against White Rabbit. Clattonia and Reece often work together and make a flawless team, but more and more people with supernatural powers have been getting killed by White Rabbit, making things even more risky than before.

He decides to step up and lead the group, as under Marlon's "guiding hand" more of them died than flourished, armed with the knowledge of the future -or at least his old future- Louis is sure that he can change the outcome this time. Along his journey a few things are added to spice up his new future, and he cannot help but worry if the mesmarizing teen with the name of an orange will show up. After her death, Clementine wakes up in her childhood room, on the day her old world ended. At first she thinks it was all a horrible- and at some times good- dream, then the news is clicked on mistakenly, and she is certain. More hopeful for a second chance to get things done right, she decides up in her treehouse to be 100 percent honest with Lee when he shows up, and together they change the fate of some of their group members. When Clementine meets up with Louis, they play it cool, until they reveal to each other that they remember. Then they begin to truly get to know one another, and uncover feelings along the way.
