A 12 year old girl is abandoned on a cold snowy night when a kind hearted man coming home from work spots her sitting on the side of the road he convinces her to stay with him where they form a friendship. Although not originally wanting a child he soon changes his mind when he finds out why she was undesired by her mother.

This is my first story I would like to hear your thoughts on it and any tips would be great  p.s. I am open to your ideas

Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that? Not a bad attempt in my opinion, although it could be better... Try it out! Hopefully you won't regret it, otherwise - take care!
