Ember Till is a young nurse in trainee, shadowing her older sister, Hazel, and trying to be the best at what she loves most. Helping others.
Ember looks up to Hazel as if she were her mother. Which she practically is. When their mom abandoned them, they were all they had left, and after their father passes away only years after, they have had to lean on each other for support.
Hazel, being the oldest, has the most damage upon herself. Being left alone is one thing, but then losing your rock, is another. Putting on a brave face for Ember, Hazel tries to be independent and strong.
But what happens when the famous international boy band, One Direction, gets involved? Ember easily falls for the flirty Harry Styles when he gets injured during one of their concerts, but it won't be that easy for Hazel to melt under Liam's requests.
The book, "Double the Direction," is a story about loss, heart-break, romance, and even some humor. When you start reading, you won't ever want to stop.
