"Hi, it's Y/N, Y/L/N."
Dan Howell had been a good friend of Y/N's for a while until Y/N risked her own life and ended it.
Y/N recorded a series of tapes, 13 to be specific, of her journey of depression, assaults, and negativity throughout her high school experience as a freshman in Northshire High School.
Each tape gives a specified reason of why Y/N killed herself and is targeted at a student.
The tapes are passed on to people who were on the tapes, and eventually got to Dan Howell.
Dan was afraid, and was curious to know why he was on the tapes. While he listens to each tape in order, he feels the need to make a difference.
