The Amaranthine Series, Book One:

Two warring kingdoms have come together to sign a peace treaty, as the war that's lasted a hundred years has finally taken the last from both kingdoms. The Isles of Shalyra's Crown Prince will marry the Triledel Empire's own Crown Princess to ensure the peace lasts between the two kingdoms. A selected group of knights will protect the Crown Prince during the Peace Days and, vouched by her brother, The Knight Commander, Taeinn Seidel will join this selected group of highly skilled knights as their healer.

Unbeknownst to the kingdoms in Einn, the Goddess Lupis and the God Strío have long since continued their fight against each other since they first clashed in what is known as the First War. With Strío on a spree for vengeance, no Blaesyrn is safe from him if they chose to fight on Lupis' behalf. And one of those Blaesyrns is closer to the royalties than anyone could possibly know - not even the Blaesyrn in question is aware until death hangs over the kingdoms.

Lurking danger, all unseen by Taeinn and her fellow knights, threatens Einn as darkness more malicious than they could possibly know descends upon them from both mortal influence and immortal.

One Is Never Without Love, Hope, Courage.

Six hundred years ago, the world-- reborn from Ragnarok-- was nearly destroyed in an Uprising led by the Great Usurper, the Lord of All Evil, Vandr. The nine heroic Drakahalr rose to stop him, but could only imprison him before their deaths. Prophecy foretells of a time when they shall both return, and throw the world into a mighty war... But none of that is Bjalla's problem. Her issues come from being an escaped thrall, forced into pirating and working her fingers to the bone in the Black Markets. Stuck in her awful reality with her is her brother Jarl, and sister Alf, a long with their mother and grandparents. Jarl wants to be an einherjar, Alf a bard, and more than anything, Bjalla wishes to one day become a dragonrider-- a thought her siblings scoff at. When an opportunity presents itself to earn their freedom in a gladiatorial competition, the triplets leap at the chance: but it all may be for nothing, as they are unprepared. Jarl is strong, but undisciplined. Alf is smart, but her overconfidence leads to many mistakes. Bjalla is too weak, barely capable of lifting her sword, let alone swing it. And now she's found herself intrigued by the dangerous rogue Hrafnfar, the daemish dragonrider, against all of her mother's warnings. Their biggest problem is trusting their teammates. Thankfully, there's six months of training before the fights begin... but a little voice inside Bjalla's head that sounds horribly like the duke that imprisoned her keeps insisting that she will NEVER be good enough.

Book 1 of The Shadow Series. Myths, that's what the humans called it, but for Ashe it quickly became her reality. Her life changing transformation narrowed her paths down to two; She could either embrace her fates and save the people she's grown to love, or she can walk away and live a somewhat normal life while others suffer the consequences. How far is she willing to go to create peace where there's never been any? Will she even create peace? Or will she help encourage the most brutal war the Shadow Realms have ever experienced? Several years of Asheland's childhood had disappeared from her memory. She assumed it was her brain trying to protect her from a traumatic event, although that's true it's not exactly what she expected and her brain wasn't necessarily the cause. After being homeless until she was sixteen years old, then living in a boat dock for four years, she had finally found her home in a cottage in the near-by mountains of Wolf Creek. Everything seemed to be going well. However, as a list of secrets begin unraveling when Ashe gives in to her overwhelming urges to visit the island that terrified almost every citizen in Wolf Creek, her life becomes more complicated than she could've ever imagined. All of this just because she was turning twenty-one. Nothing was as it had ever seemed. * excerpt from the book * { "Why do you make such reckless, impulsive decisions?" The old man asked as we watched the moon. "The world could end tomorrow and everyone expects me to live in fear today? There's no life to live inside the box of fear, there's no freedom in there," I replied softly. }

A tale sought to be as old as time. A story told around a campfire as the children eagerly leaned in, hungry for the next plot. The story of young gods that commanded the winds and tides, that wove your fate and destiny; gods that rode into battle on the backs of mighty steads, axe in hand, and shield in the other. A story of thunder and lightning, and snakes that writhed through tall grass. A story of love. Asgard and Vanaheim. Two sister realms of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Both realms raged war for centuries over a long forgotten matter. Thousands killed, cities laid to waste. From this war, Freya and Iwaldi, rulers of Vanaheim, strike a truce with the All-Father Odin in attempt to finally bring everlasting peace through the Nine Realms. Sigyn, Princess of Vanaheim, and Thor, Son of Odin, are arranged to marry for the sake of their realms. Neither of them want it. Neither of them love each other.
