The Humans were forced to hide in Mt. Ebott after the war, where they end up struggling to survive underground. A fungus like infection transferred through corrupted blood causes hallucinations and a discolored slime over the soul making them unstable and weak. These infected Human Souls become aggressive to uninfected souls. Certain Monsters are immune to the infection, so in turn they are in charge of guarding and killing the infected that dare to pass. The guards protect the entrances and exit to the underground so that the violence never reach the rest of the surface Monsters. The Humans who are not infected have to be strong enough to fight off those who are. The concept of the survival of the fittest rules the underground above all the rest. Will there be a cure for the infected or the elimination of an entire race?All Rights Reserved

So when a certain skeleton with pink slippers and a blue jacket makes it to the internet and catches the eye of Nick Fury as a potential threat, things get weird.
