Laughter Lines

Dan and Steph have known each other since they were little. They basically grew up together.
Throughout all their childhood years and through uni, they managed to stay close friends.
But in their last year of uni, Steph became confused about her and Dan.
She felt different when he was around, more happy, more alive.
It was almost as if her happiness depended on his presence.
But they were just friends, right? Or was it becoming more than that?
Would it stand in the way of their friendship?
Speaking about something getting in the way,
it's not always easy to keep in touch when you have a job which takes you everywhere around the globe except home.
