Another lead in finding the transformers turns into a sour trip, as Daisy Witwicky gains more than she bargained for. So he thought of the next best thing. He thought it wasn't a terrible idea, since he would be giving a home to someone who needed it. So he adopted Naomi. He brought her home and treated her like family. The only thing Naomi ever truly wanted, she just had to wait till she was eight for it to happen. Optimus didn't want Kennedy to be forced into becoming a Cybertronian, he wanted her to make that choice.
