I sat on the curb furiously wiping my tears with the sleeves of my hoodie.
"It's not your fault you know."
My blood ran cold as I looked over my shoulder to the familiar face of Dameon. "What do you know about it?" I hissed, turning my back to him.
"More than you think I do." He murmered, taking a seat beside me.
"Sure you do..."
"Whether you think I do or do not does not change that you are no longer alone." His rough voice caused me to flinch.
"Do you..." I paused before lifting my pinky up to him. "Pinky Swear?"
He gave me an odd look but gave a small chuckle, latching his pinky with my own.
"Pinky Swear."
Jazzlyn Walker always made sure not to get involved with the wrong crowd but when Dameon Henderson, the school bad boy, sees something he shouldn't have their paths cross in the most unlikely of ways.
