After a successful battle with the Drakainas last week, the four friends are settling into their normal lives once again, with the exception of not having to reach for things or get up to get a glass of water. Unfortunately, or fortunately for Lucy, the normal life will be disrupted again as another evil shows itself, this time though, it attacks the mortals, the innocents. The hissing on the dark streets and the strange disappearances are the only things to aid Alex, Talia, Lucy and Chris.
