(Credit to @mlpwarriorcat for the backstory that this story is going off of!) "I am Princess Luna of the Night. I have returned to my rightful place." I murmured to myself as I paced back and forth. "That's not right... 'I am Princess Luna. Your rightful ruler of the night. You will obey me just as you once did 1,000 years ago.' Hmm..." The time was soon to come. It was almost 1,000 years since I had been banished. Soon, my sister will raise the moon and the stars will align, and I will lift off from the moon. I will be home.
I was practicing my entrance, I suppose you could say. If I am going to come home, I want ponies to know that I am the Princess of the Moon, and that they should obey me just as they did 1,000 years ago...
