The Keeper of Stories

IN fifth century Dal Riada, a Kingdom straddling areas of both Ireland and Scotland, Sister Enat of the order of the Green Mountain is a rare breed. It's a time when women are confined to the house and even those of religious orders are sheltered from the written word - but Enat is a woman of letters. A powerful woman in a man's world, her life's course set out before her. And then her future is turned upside down by the will of the goddess, she must find a way to protect her future and the lives of those closest to her including the man she is forbidden to love. And all the while she must also protect the past and the stories of people while dealing with the changing world and new religion.
